The first rose ever made in Getariako Txakolina, and still the one everyone copies. Ameztoi blends the indigenous Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza grown on cliffside trellises above the Bay of Biscay, with the backbone coming from an old Beltza vineyard planted in 1840 and kept alive by the family for generations. Vinified the way the Blanco is, with a faint natural spritz from residual CO2, the result is pale salmon-pink, gently fizzy, and powerfully refreshing. The pool wine that ruined other pool wines.
