Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts have built a near-cult following for singularly graceful, genuinely cool-climate wines, with an uncanny eye for vineyards (celebrated or completely unknown) and the skill to coax out their very best. The Rose is Touriga Nacional-led, a grape they began working with in 2010 for its color, acidity and aromatics at low ripeness. The 2025 draws from rocky volcanic soils at Luchsinger in Clear Lake, granitic loam in Amador, and the breezy Mokelumne River bottoms in Lodi, blended with smaller portions of Trincadeira, Grenache and Tinta Cao. Purposeful, site-driven rose with the structure to actually sit at the dinner table.
