The Cabernet Franc is a Loire-clone block grafted in 2014 alongside the Chardonnay - barely an acre, just a handful of barrels a year. The result is the opposite of typical Napa Cab Franc: airy, chalky, and lifted, with herbal lift and bright red fruit rather than weight.
