Les Narvaux sits just above the celebrated 1er Crus of Les Genevrieres and Poruzots, a village lieu-dit so well-sited that many consider it premier-cru in everything but classification. The Ballot-Millot vines here are 45 to 60 years old, and Charles Ballot's tensile, Roulot-influenced touch turns them into something that feels much grander than its label suggests.
