Julia is the Pinot Noir Cameron makes for the family. John Paul has been farming the Dundee Hills since 1984, and this bottling comes from a small block of 35-year-old Martin Ray massale vines at Abbey Ridge, the estate's foundational site. The wine is named for Julia Wayne, who planted Abbey Ridge with her husband Bill back in 1976 and became one of the original Cameron partners. Two years in barrique and another year in bottle before release means it arrives quiet, composed, and ready to drink. This is old-school Oregon Pinot, made with the patience and restraint of a winemaker who has nothing left to prove.
