Camp North Coast Chardonnay 2024
Camp is the everyday line from Kenny Likitprakong's Hobo Wine Company, and every bottle is made from certified organic North Coast fruit with native yeasts and zero additives. The Chardonnay pulls from a handful of inland vineyards including Vecino in Potter Valley, old-vine Lolonis in Redwood Valley, and Brosseau on the crushed granite of Chalone. Fermented in a mix of stainless and neutral French oak and then returned to stainless for blending, it lands somewhere between the lean Chablis style and richer California Chardonnay. The result is a wine with real texture but no flash, the kind of bottle you reach for when you want something honest and unfussy on a Tuesday night.
