Grosjean FrĂšres has farmed organically since 1975 (certified 2011). Their Gamay comes from steep, south-facing upper slopes in the villages of Quart, Saint Christophe, and Villeneuve. Four to five days of maceration, then stainless steel aging preserves bright fruit character. Think of it as a smokier, more mineral cousin of Beaujolaisâmountain Gamay with altitude and character.
