Two estate blocks at the heart of Hendry's identity combine here: Block 7, planted in 1975, and Block 22 from 1995, both on benchlands west of Napa between 230 and 300 feet elevation. Thin, stony soils yield a wine tightly wound at the core yet polished in texture, brimming with floral, tea-like, and orange aromas alongside bold berry fruit. One-third new French oak aging for 15 months adds spice—white and black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg—framing red-fruit character.
