A Loire Valley red from Domaine Le Fief Noir, established in 2014 by Dominique Sirot and Alexis Soulas in Anjou. The blend is 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Grolleau, hand-harvested and vinified with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks—half whole-cluster, half destemmed. Bottled unfined and unfiltered after six months in concrete. Organic and biodynamic from inception. This is natural Loire red at its most approachable: juicy, fresh, with the peppery lift that makes Anjou Cabernet Franc so distinctive.
