Nicolas Bernard and Veronique Bonin farm just a handful of hectares organically and biodynamically, with long lees aging and minimal intervention. Genevrieres is the great 1er Cru above Charmes, rocky-soiled and old-vined, with Grand Cru ambition at its best. 2021 was the cool, frost-shortened vintage Burgundy is calling classical: tight, high-toned, and built for the cellar. Give this one some time and it will reward you.
