Christophe Buisson is based in Saint-Romain, the small village tucked into a hidden valley west of Auxey-Duresses, and quietly turns out some of the best-value whites and reds in the Côte de Beaune. He founded the estate in 1996 and converted to organic farming in 2009. This Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot comes from one of the largest and most distinguished premier crus on the southern end of Chassagne, known for richer, more powerful expressions of the appellation. Raised in barrel with a modest portion of new oak, in classic Burgundian style.
